Battery Care Pro

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 8 August 2026

This policy explains what Battery Care Pro – Optimizer (“the app”, package com.batterycare.pro) collects, why, and what choices you have. It is written to be read, not to be skimmed past.

The short version

Information the app itself handles

Battery and device diagnostics

The app reads battery level, charging state, temperature, voltage, health, and related device status in order to display them to you and generate optimization tips. This information is processed on your device and stored locally. It is not transmitted to us.

App usage data (special permission)

The app requests the PACKAGE_USAGE_STATS special access permission. Android requires you to grant this manually in system settings; it is never granted silently. The app uses it for a single purpose: to identify which apps are consuming battery in the background so it can show you that list and let you act on it.

This usage information is read on demand, used to render the screen you are looking at, and is not collected, stored off-device, profiled, or shared. If you do not grant this permission, the rest of the app continues to work; only the battery-drain breakdown is unavailable.

Other permissions and why they exist

Third-party services

These services operate under their own privacy policies and may collect device identifiers, including your advertising ID and IP address.

Google AdMob (advertising)

The app displays ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may use your advertising ID and related device signals to select and measure ads, including personalized ads where permitted. You can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of ad personalization, in Settings → Google → Ads on your device. See how Google uses data from apps that use its services.

Firebase (crash reporting, analytics, messaging, configuration)

The app uses Firebase Crashlytics, Analytics, Cloud Messaging, and Remote Config. These collect crash diagnostics, aggregate usage events, a device instance identifier, and general device information such as model and OS version. They are used to fix crashes and understand which features are used — not to identify you personally. See the Firebase privacy documentation.

Google Play Billing

Purchases are processed by Google Play. We never receive or store your card details. We receive only the purchase state needed to unlock what you paid for.

Data we do not collect

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, postal address, contacts, photos, files, precise location, microphone audio, or camera input. The app has no account system and no login.

Children

The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will address it.

Your choices and rights

If you are in the EEA, UK, or a US state with comparable law, you retain your statutory rights over personal data processed by the third parties named above; those requests are best directed to Google, and we will assist where we can.

Data retention

Diagnostics stay on your device until you clear them or uninstall. Third-party services retain data according to their own published policies.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
